Safe, reliable, fun to drive
by Pablo on 1/15/2026 12:50:38 AM
I've owned my 2009 cube for 16 years, and have maintained it well. No major issues, e.g., with brakes or drivetrain. It's admittedly not great on ice, like getting up my steep driveway. I do wish the cube were once again on the USA market, this time with 4wd or AWD. It's a great little car. - 5.0

Tires were inexpensive Fixed rear door latch, u wouldn't want to do it Woman driver is 5'3" and can see all around. We think it's a big safety advantage. We've had it since 2012 and "going strong ", fingers crossed 🤞🔀 - 5.0
My favorite car!

I bought my Cube in 2015 after immediately falling in love with it in a photo in a local for sale ad. It's deceptively roomy, and very comfortable to both drive and be a passenger in. I can't stress enough how resilient the Cube is. I wasn't always diligent with maintenance and oil changes, and in my early 20s I drove that car like I stole it. But not once has it ever given up or had any major mechanical issues. I've had to replace the battery twice, and replace the AC compressor. Even after sitting unused for a year, no issues other than new tires needed, which is entirely my ffault. I love its unique shape, it's like being in a fish bowl. And the trunk opens like a fridge, it's so cute. I love this car so much, I never want to get rid of it. It would be a great first car for a teenager who doesn't mind driving something that looks like a Lego on wheels. Honestly for me that was a big part of the allure at 23 years old!
